Several types of key treatments are suggested, depending on the season:
- Bleaching and dyeing
- Tanning treatment
- Back treatment
- Luxo (weight loss, relaxation, menopause, anti-ageing facial, anti-smoking)
How does LUXO work?
The mode of action of reflex or energy techniques is still difficult to detect and explain scientifically. Certain assumptions are made, especially in the treatment of anxiety and compulsive disorders.
Like reflexotherapy or energy techniques, the goal is to correct a functional imbalance in certain organs: hormonal, digestive or lymphatic systems, for example.
The energy of LUXO® infrared radiation is transferred to the nerve endings that are the reflex points. This energetic stimulation would act on the vegetative (or stand-alone) nervous system, aiming, inter alia, at restoring a functional balance in the hormonal system.
There are two very important organs in the hormonal (endocrine) system: the hypothalamus and pituitary gland. They are located in the brain and intervene in the regulation of the vegetative nervous system, in the secretion of neurohormones and in behavioural functions (eating habits, smoking and alcohol dependence, stress, and biological sleep-wake rhythms etc...).
They secrete endorphins. The hypothalamus also produces some dopamine. The pituitary gland stimulates the production of oestrogen and progesterone by the ovaries.
…Our repliesIs luxopuncture painful?
Absolutely not, the infrared beam is painless and does not heat up. Are the effects maintained over time?
In general, three maintenance sessions one week apart are recommended every six months, or when you feel the need. At what age can Luxo be performed?
The treatments can be performed on children and adolescents. In terms of slimming, children and adolescents in the growth phase should undergo the treatment under medical supervision. What is the difference between luxopuncture, acupuncture and digitopuncture?
The three techniques are based on stimulation of acupuncture points. Luxopuncture uses a painless infrared beam. Acupuncture uses needles. Digitopuncture uses mechanical finger or stylus pressure.
